Our Jerusalem… Local
San Jose is our Jerusalem
When Jesus commissioned the disciples to “Go”, He first instructed them to go into Jerusalem. We see that our Jerusalem is here in San Jose and is the beginning of our fulfillment of that commission, and where we are to go out in order to evangelize and minister the gospel to all.
Our Judea… State
California is our Judea
After instructing the disciples to go into Jerusalem, he then told them to go to Judea. We see that California is our Judea, and that we are to go and minister throughout our state in the same way that we would to those immediately around us.
Our Samaria… National
The United States is our Samaria
After Jerusalem and Judea, we are instructed to go into Samaria and we see that our nation is our Samaria, and we have the same call of the Lord to go throughout our country in order to share the love of the Lord with others.
Our Uttermost… International
The World is our Uttermost part of the earth
After Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, we are commanded to go also to the uttermost part of the earth. We answer that call by joining with our missionaries throughout the world and partnering with them in prayer and support and by going with short term teams to minister along side them for the sake of the gospel.
