Investing yourself in the Word of God is the best thing you can do for your personal walk with the Lord. Revival comes to the human soul when the Spirit of God works through the Word of God to transform the lives of the people of God. And the more you get to know your Bible, the more you get to know God. Your life will never be the same when you begin to read God's Word consistently.

What Is The Good News Reading Plan

The Good News Bible reading plan is adapted by one compiled by Scottish preacher Robert Murray M’Cheyne (1813-1843.) It is a two-year reading plan that will allow you to read the New Testament and Psalms once every year and the Old Testament once every two years. The Good News two-year Bible reading plan is available online, in print at the info booth and on the CalvarySJ app

Sunday Morning Teaching

Pastor Mike will teach through an important chapter from the previous week's reading, connecting that chapter with the overall flow of the book and historical period.

[email protected] Fellowships

Our home fellowships will encourage people to read together in groups and to take what we're reading and what we're learning a focal point for our fellowship with one another. We'll also have opportunities for some discussion about the chapter and what we've read that week.

Church Unity

The whole congregation will be reading through the whole Bible and we will all be feeding on the same portion of scripture at the same time. We shall all be united and strengthened. We will be reading over the same promises, mourning the same confessions, praising God in the same songs, and be abundantly nourished by the same words of eternal life.

Home Unity

Parents, couples, friends and family will have an opportunity for great conversations on the same reading, gleaning from one another. Every member in the family can give meaning, insight or draw out simple questions and answers. Great conversations will be taking place when you meet with family and friends.

Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
