This is the heart of all our activities in Women’s Ministry. Therefore all the fruits of a Christian Life flow forth naturally from the one who is finding ultimate joy in His majesty. When we do this God is glorified and we are satisfied.

Since the key to immeasurable joy is living in intimate contact with Jesus Christ the source of all joy (Jn.15:1-11). We accomplish this through His Word, worship and prayer by providing in depth bible studies, small discussion groups, prayer, worship, fellowship, and special events.

Hi There! My name is Renee Vargas and I have the honor and privilege of serving the women in our Body at CCSJ. I have been attending Calvary for 21 years and 13 of those years my husband Joe, daughter Danielle,sons Jordan, Aaron, and I served in Children's Ministry.

Serving as a family and attending Women's Bible Study for 14 years was pivotal in my life as a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, a student, and co-worker. I was clue-less about mothering, wifing (my own word) nourishing relationships, unconditional love, forgiveness, work ethics to please God vs man.

The Lord revealed Himself to me through His Word especially during Bible studies. I learned about mothering His way and how to nourish relationships by encouraging godly women who laughed and wept with me.I felt like I had a New purpose for living. God has given me a whole new set of priorities to live by. Exactly 4 years ago I cried out to God telling Him how much I love Him need Him and to use me as He sees fit. I was then given the honor of serving you women and loving you for as long as the Lord permits.

The Word is alive and living and is still teaching me about finding joy,and cultivating contentment through the seasons of my life. At this moment, I'm an official empty-nester with mixed-feelings of "your child-raising is over" and "God use this broken, forgiven, unworthy, willing heart for your glory and give me your vision and love for the women who are all at different seasons of their life."
