I was raised in Scotts Valley and attended an Assemblies of God church there until we came to Calvary San Jose when I was 9 years old. I have been here at this church ever since, save for the couple of years I was at college, as I have never felt led of the Lord to go anywhere else. I made a commitment to Christ as a child, but felt I had made the decision fully when I was 13 years old. I attended High School here at the church, and was active in the Youth Group and helped in Children’s Ministry along with my parents and siblings
I Kings 2:1-3 says:
“1Now the days of David drew near that he should die, and
he charged Solomon his son, saying: 2”I go the way of all
the earth; be strong therefore and prove yourself a man. 3And
keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to
keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies,
as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in
all that you do and wherever you turn.””
The Lord gave me this verse years ago, and what I have learned is that to prosper does not necessarily mean physically or financially, although the Lord may do so, but what He will ALWAYS be more concerned about is the spiritual aspect of prospering, seeing fruit that will last for all eternity … and that is the cry of my heart, to truly be pleasing to the Lord and prosper for His glory, to have fruit that will remain, to see the Lord, high and lifted up.

I spent most of my teen and young adult life struggling with drugs and alcohol and partaking in the darkness of the world. I was sowing in the flesh and reaping the outcome of my sin and the destruction that it brings
But my life was drastically changed by the saving life of Jesus Christ when I experienced Him in one of the darkest moments of my life.
The Lord shone His wonderful light into my life and I recommitted my life to Him In 2003. The Lord brought me to Calvary Chapel of San Jose where I served, worked ,lived, was schooled and went through discipleship for 3 years. And in 2006 I obeyed the Lord's call to come on at Calvary Chapel San Jose as Youth Pastor serving together with my beautiful wife Abby and our children ... all of it by God's amazing grace!
